About the Role:


The Regional Vice President of Sales drives our company's performance and ensures delivery at the regional level through effective management of regional resources. This position is a member of the on the Sales Leadership Team and reports directly to the Chief Sales Officer.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

·      Provide direction, coaching and feedback to direct reports and team members

·      Support Zone Directors in driving the annual and monthly business objective planning process within distributor network 

·      Ensure execution of programming and retail standards through Excellent Outlet Execution with the Retail focused teams 

·      Lead financial management at the Region level including oversight of pricing, inventory, budget, invoicing, and expenses 

·      Challenge and hold team and distributors accountable for market opportunities 

·      Partner with our colleagues across sales, marketing, operations, and other functions to ensure alignment and support for region priorities

·      Manage Key Stakeholder Relationships at the most senior levels within both Internal, and External Customer Leadership teams 

 

People Leadership:


·      Set an example for direct reports to model when leading their own teams by living the company behaviors

·      Inspire, motivate, and develop the team

·      Champion a culture of belonging

·      Provide performance feedback to direct reports in regular one-on-ones and through the performance management process

·      Assist direct reports in developing actionable personal development plans

·      Review annual Climate Survey results with team and take lead Climate action plans in focus areas

 

 

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:


·      Bachelor’s Degree required

·      12+ years relevant experience

·      Proven track record of managing in a sales leadership role, with oversight over of a Commercial Business Unit

·      Experience managing within retail and/or three-tier distribution environment

·      Financial & Business Acumen in the areas of data analysis, reporting, and market knowledge

·      Passion for winning/Drive for Success

·      Strategic Business Planning & Development

·      Sales Excellence: Understanding Distributor Dynamics, Selling & Negotiation Skills, Sales Performance Management

·      Business Performance Management

·      Must have a valid driver’s license

·      Must be willing to travel approximately 50% of the time

 

Preferred Qualifications:


·      Category Management experience strongly preferred

·      National and/or Chain account experience strongly preferred
