DESCRIPTION:


An UHNW family in the Seattle area is seeking a highly skilled and experienced full-time Personal Chef to prepare and serve high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Southeast Asian cuisine, nutrition, and creating diverse and flavorful dishes that align with the family’s dietary preferences. This Chef will work on rotation with one other chhef so that each chef will cover roughly 5 days (with 2-3 meal periods each) for a family of 3. This role offers excellent room for work/life balance. 

2-4 week paid trial will be necessary before an offer of full time employment will be extended.

This role is ‘live-out’

Relocation assistance is offered.

Must be currently authorized to work full time in the US.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan weekly menus in collaboration with the family, ensuring variety and balance in all meals.
  • Prepare daily breakfasts, lunches, and dinners, along with healthy snacks as requested.
  • Source high-quality, organic, and fresh ingredients, prioritizing locally sourced and sustainable products.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked kitchen at all times.
  • Adhere to proper food safety, storage, and sanitation protocols.
  • Customize meals to accommodate dietary needs, allergies, or specific nutritional goals.
  • Prepare meals for guests or small gatherings, ensuring high-end presentation and taste.
  • Provide meal-prepping options when necessary..
  • Keep an inventory of kitchen supplies and ingredients, restocking as necessary.
  • Manage grocery shopping, budgeting, and expense tracking related to meal preparation.
  • Stay updated with the latest culinary trends and incorporate new recipes and techniques into meal planning.


REQUIREMENTS:


  • Proven experience as a Personal Chef, Private Chef, or in a professional culinary role, with a strong background in Southeast Asian cuisine.
  • Flexible schedule
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of nutrition, wellness-focused meal planning, and vegan and/or gluten free cooking techniques.
  • Ability to prepare a wide range of international and gourmet dishes.
  • Experience in meal prepping and time-efficient cooking.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Professional demeanor with discretion and respect for household privacy.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to the household’s preferences and routines.
  • Verifiable references
