Job Title: Vice President of Finance
Location: Dallas, TX (On-Site)
Our client is seeking a seasoned finance executive with deep hospitality and multi-unit operational experience to lead financial transformation during a pivotal growth stage. The ideal candidate is a builder—not just a steward—with the hands-on ability to drive reporting accuracy, systems integration, and financial strategy in a high-growth, founder-led environment.
Target Background:
-
Industry Experience: Candidates should come from multi-unit hospitality groups, restaurant groups, or private-equity-backed consumer brands. Prior exposure to fast-growth environments and experience supporting new unit development, capex tracking, and pro forma modeling is essential.
-
Technical Expertise: Strong command of GAAP, month-end close cycles (<7 days), cash flow forecasting, and multi-LLC consolidation. Familiarity with systems such as Restaurant365, Sage Intacct, POS integrations, and dashboard/reporting tools is required. The candidate should be able to implement budgeting processes and live KPI tracking across units.
-
Leadership Capabilities: This candidate will have managed a finance team (including hiring and development) and have experience influencing cross-functional teams including operations, real estate, and marketing. They are confident and credible presenting to founders, investors, and board members.
-
Strategic Orientation: While this is a highly operational role, the VP must also think strategically—developing financial infrastructure to support rapid scaling, a future exit event, and enterprise-level reporting. They should be able to balance real-time operational execution with longer-term planning.
-
Cultural Fit: Entrepreneurial, collaborative, execution-oriented, and passionate about hospitality. The successful candidate is detail-driven, thrives in fast-paced environments, and enjoys the challenge of building from the ground up.
Ideal Candidate Snapshot:
- 10+ years of progressive finance leadership in hospitality or consumer brands
- Fluent in multi-entity consolidations and rapid-close cycles
- Deep understanding of cash management, capex modeling, and forecast accuracy
- Adept at designing scalable systems and KPIs
- Able to thrive without heavy oversight and align finance with the company’s creative vision
- Polished, professional, and excited to be part of a founder-led company heading toward growth or liquidity events
This role offers the opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a disruptive, design-forward hospitality group with global aspirations. It is both a challenge and an invitation—to architect the systems, teams, and processes that will power our client’s next chapter.
This is a highly confidential and curated search. If you are interested in learning more, please apply and we will reach out to discuss further details if your background is aligned.
