System Engineer – Critical Facilities, Electrical Power Monitoring for Data Centers
Location: South Bend, IN
Comp: 90 - 120K + competitive benefits

This is an opportunity to join an established company and provide technology support for the data centers of some of the world’s leading organizations. You will provide support, maintenance, and troubleshooting to resolve issues related to the proper operation of the critical facilities support systems.
In this customer-facing role, you will collaborate with both them and outside vendors to provide excellent service and resolution to any issues. This includes the hardware and software, and learning the proper operation of the critical facilities support systems. What we are looking for:
Experience in engineering, automation, controls, networking, or electrical power monitoring
Microsoft server and product knowledge, Microsoft Office and BackOffice products, VMware expertise highly valued
Experience operating or troubleshooting routers, switches, backup, firewalls, and remote access
Networking knowledge including IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SNMP, FTP, HTTP protocols
Effective communication skills as you interact with professionals both internally and externally, including coordinating with vendors
Customer-focused attitude, dedicated to providing a high level of service for support and resolution of issues
Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP & TCP/IP a plus
Experience with Schneider PME, Siemens Win, or other power monitoring software highly valued
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
