HIR Talent is on the hunt for a Draftsperson to join one of Queensland’s leading volume home builders. You would be joining their team based in Southport on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the Drafting Manager, this role is responsible for creating accurate and timely siting’s, construction contracts and Working drawings based on and pre-determined workflow processes. The position is expected to identify covenant requirements, town planning requirements, NCC building code and Australian Standards requirements and provide accurate and timely documentation on all projects

Responsibilities include:

• Provide accurate siting packages, which included the following components
• Completing in detail the required siting package check sheet
• Review and find all relevant information from Developer, Council town planning, Queensland Development code,
• Provide copies of all overlays with snippets copied into siting folder.
• Provide siting images with disclosure plans provided underlaid.
• Provide accurate contract plans based on siting packages.
• Ensure all variations raised are included in any Contract plans where requested.
• Provide working drawings, details and other drafting operations when requested.
• Collaborate with Construction and Operations staff where required Ensure the technical and regulatory compliance of all plans produced.
• Any other duties as directed by the Drafting Manager
