One of the country's largest technology providers, it supplies EPOS hardware and back-office systems, mobile apps for ordering, and web apps for engaging consumers through loyalty programmes or reservations.
The Job
As a Field Service Engineer, you will install, maintain, and troubleshoot products and systems at sites throughout the Central London area.
Duties include:
· Site Surveys
· Installation, testing and configuration of EPOS systems, including structured cable testing
· Planned maintenance
· Diagnose faults and swap out units
· Fault finding on computer WIFI networks
· Reimage PCs, data copies and system updates
About You
As a Field Service Engineer, you should have a good mix of the following skills and experience.
· Field-based customer service engineering experience
· Knowledge of computer hardware (PCs, IP Networks and WIFI)
· Manage own diary and workload
· EPOS knowledge desirable / not essential as training given
· Full UK Driving Licence
Hours
Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm
On-Call One Week in Three: Standby Hours: Mon-Fri 5pm-9pm, Sat & Sun 9am – 9pm
Benefits
£35126 (£28620 basic + £2000 LWA + £4500 standby allowance) Paid overtime when called out. £1000 performance bonus paid quarterly (£250). Basic salary rises from £28620 to £30000 after 12 months
