You Will:

  • Solving problems by providing level one and level two support while managing a rich suite of trading applications
  • Proposing and executing automation efforts to keep the operational burden low and to enhance reliability
  • Monitoring daily reports and the run of scheduled jobs
  • Monitoring and reporting on the status and health of our systems
  • Serving as the primary technical contact for the whole trading team, engaging in direct communication with traders and developers
  • Participating in on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts


You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s, Master's, or PhD degree in computer science or a related field
  • At least three years of professional experience, providing application support and reliability engineering of financial trade systems/applications.
  • Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
  • A proven understanding of Linux fundamentals and basic knowledge of OS concepts
  • Experience with configuration management, source control, and automated deployment
  • Knowledge of SQL and use of databases
  • Background in C++ will be a plus
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
