Junior Pricing Analyst (6-month FTC) - Fashion brand - London

 

Reporting into the Retail Pricing Manager, you will support the strategy and execution of pricing and promotions across all retail channels positioned within the Planning & Merchandising Teams.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the development and execution of Outlet pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Manage and present promotional files during relevant weekly meetings.
  • Partner with the Planning team to optimize end-of-season markdowns, ensuring discounting aligns with brand integrity.
  • Communicate pricing and promotional updates to stores via the weekly transmittal process.
  • Collaborate with IT and system partners to ensure technical support and system alignment.
  • Under the guidance of the Senior Pricing Analyst, implement weekly price changes across all product categories, partnering with planners and managing the approval process.
  • Apply and validate rounding rules for promotional pricing events.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for weekly reporting, supporting the Senior Pricing Analyst with data analysis.
  • Run ad hoc reports to provide visibility into current pricing strategies, ensuring system accuracy.
  • Assist with the price establishment process by pulling reports and reviewing status updates.
  • Support the upload and reporting process for seasonal markdown corrections.


You’ll Need to Have:

  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams across various functions
  • Strong Excel proficiency, with advanced data manipulation and analysis capabilities
  • Familiarity with integrated systems such as Forecast Horizon, RLM, and JDA (a plus)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven recommendations
  • Solid understanding and application of retail math concepts
