Ride and Handling Engineer
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Ride and Handling Engineer to support the development and optimization of vehicle ride and handling performance. This role focuses on frame, body, and chassis systems, including suspension and bushings, through simulation, testing, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate vehicle ride and handling performance
- Apply CAE, FEA, MBD, and other simulation methods to support design decisions
- Support vehicle and bench testing, including data collection, in collaboration with technicians
- Analyze, organize, and visualize simulation and test data to support vehicle dynamics development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience (including internships, co-ops, or project leadership)
- Academic coursework in structures, vibrations, or automotive dynamics
Required Skills:
- Experience with engineering experimentation, including test planning, measurement, and analysis
- Familiarity with FEA pre-processing, solving, and post-processing tools
- Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience contributing to projects as part of a diverse or cross-functional team
Pay Rate: $63.73 - 73.54 per hour
