Position Title: Systems Engineer

Department: Information Technology (IT)

Status: Exempt (Salaried)

Reports To: Director of IT Operations


Position Summary:

The Systems Engineer is responsible for deploying, configuring, managing, and optimizing various application. This position will work in an Agile Team environment with other Engineers to deliver application capabilities as described in product backlog. Perform responsibilities in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures.


Essential Functions:

• Responsible for practicing, supporting, and promoting Company culture and demonstrating exemplary Service Standards at all times.

• Deploy, configure, and manage various applications used to support line of business operations.

• Lead other Engineers to identify current operating procedures and clarify design and implementation objectives.

• Formulate plans using industry standard techniques to outline tasks required to deliver committed user stories.

• Address and resolve application performance and availability issues in a cost-effective and timely fashion.

• Participate with other members of a product team to operate, optimize, and support platforms in a production environment.

• Understand and implement Company, department and guild standards.

• Other duties as assigned.


Required Skills/Abilities:

• Expert knowledge of Hospitality, Gaming and/or Accounting applications, including but not limited to POS, PMS, Spa, Access Control, ADP, ERP, IGT Gaming systems, Genesis, Stadium, Miommi, Everi and others.

• Ability to communicate effectively with Stakeholders, Team Members and Leadership in both written and verbal form.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain control in critical situations.

• Ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in technology related field; or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience required in an enterprise environment.

• Minimum of one (1) year casino/gaming IT experience required.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission.
