Position Summary

The Bookkeeper is responsible for managing day‑to‑day financial operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring the company’s books are up to date. This role supports accounting activities such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, reconciliations, and financial reporting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
  • Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor statements
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports
  • Assist with payroll processing and maintain employee expense records
  • Maintain organized financial files and documentation
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
  • Coordinate with external accountants for tax preparation or audits
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer competence
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
