RedGreen Partners are looking to attract a HR Business Partner into a newly created role on behalf of a national logistics business.


This is a very exciting opportunity and a great time to join the organisation as they assemble their HR team after recently becoming a stand-alone business. An ambitious business strategy will see further growth largely led by merger and acquisition. With real opportunity to offer value add HR to a receptive organisation, you will form part of a team of 3 HR Business Partners who will each take a region of the country to support. 


About the role

This role covers the Southern region and will support c500 colleagues.


Working with a supportive and well experienced HR Director, your role will see you:


  • Forge strong relationships with Learning and Development, HR Administration, Recruitment and Payroll to build a supportive culture and a holistic approach to People Management
  • Ensure key stakeholders have a HR KPI suite of relevant people data in place and can use the information to drive improvement
  • Support existing customer renewals and growth opportunities including acquisitions and TUPE’s
  • Support workforce planning and ensure clear site of succession planning
  • Manage the ER agenda and support Disciplinaries, Grievances etc.
  • Support the Implementation of a performance management culture across the business
  • Improve employee engagement by identifying and championing engagement initiatives
  • Ensure active and successful Continuous Improvement initiatives are in place
  • Influence the Operations team to improve HR processes
  • Immerse yourself in divisional commercial and profit drivers
  • Support Pay negotiations across the business


About you

For this Regional HRBP role we are hoping to attract somebody who has performed in a multi-site operation. You will be confident to support a region’s HR activity and be comfortable in an ambiguous environment as the newly stand-alone business ‘finds its feet.’ Trade Union knowledge would be advantageous as would TUPE and Re-organisation expertise. Regular regional travel is expected within the East Midlands and South of the Country, and you will be able to manage your diary accordingly.


What’s on offer?

Base salary: £45,000 - £48,500

Car or Car Allowance: £5,000 or equivalent

PMI, Health Cash Plan, Enhanced Pension


Working Pattern: Hybrid option of work from home, required site visits or operate out of depots if desired.
