Qualifications/Responsibilities
- Degree in Civil Engineering (MSCE, preferred) from an accredited institution with an emphasis in Geotechnical
- Professional Engineer Certification
- 6+years of work experience in the Geotechnical field from inception to completion
- Preparing subsurface exploration and associated cost estimates on a diverse projects
- Preparing established drilling program on executed proposals.
- Analyze and coordinate soil/rock samples and prepare boring logs in Gint or similar software
- Analysis of findings, assessment and design of shallow and deep foundations, retraining walls, pavements/roadways, soil/slope etc.
- Preparing Subsurface Exploration Report
- When study transitions into the construction stage, project management will continue as needed
- Good written and oral skills including communications with the client management
- Attend kick-off meetings and perform field inspection and testing services as needed
