Accounts Receivable Specialist – Contract | DC-Based Engineering Team

A DC-based, mid-size engineering consulting firm is hiring an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist for a contract opportunity. If you're strong with invoicing, collections, and client account management, this role offers long-term stability in a collaborative and mission-driven setting.

Scope of Role:

• Generate project invoices and track billing cycles
• Monitor aging reports and assist with collections and payment status
• Work with PMs to ensure invoice accuracy and timely cash flow
• Prepare AR reports and support the accounting manager

Role Requirements:

• 2+ years AR experience (engineering, A&E, or consulting services a plus)
• Comfort with ERP/accounting tools such as Deltek or QuickBooks
• Strong Excel and data accuracy skills
