Job Title: Attorney – U.S. Business Immigration
Location: 100% onsite, Redmond, WA
Rate: $48-$50/ hour
Duration: Through 6/30/26 (extension to 1 year expected)
Purpose of the Role
The Attorney supports high‑volume U.S. business immigration operations by providing legal review, guidance, and compliance oversight. This role ensures the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of immigration filings while advising internal teams and visa-dependent employees on immigration-related topics. The Attorney also contributes to process optimization and operational quality for a high‑tech, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and apply U.S. immigration law to support daily operational workflows.
- Review non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings for accuracy and legal sufficiency.
- Train and guide administrative staff on USCIS filings, document processing, PERM job postings, and general immigration procedures.
- Provide remote and onsite legal review of immigration filings.
- Support I‑9 and E‑Verify processes, including resolving complex E‑Verify issues.
- Respond to legal questions regarding I‑9 completion, immigration status, travel, and visa/green card eligibility.
- Assist managers with PERM process requirements during applicant review.
- Drive root cause analysis and propose legal and operational process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with legal standards, internal policies, and regulatory obligations.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited university.
- Admission to a U.S. state bar (active status required).
Experience

Minimum 1+ year of immigration law experience (business immigration preferred; family-based immigration acceptable).
- Experience working in high-volume legal or operational environments is highly preferred.
Core Skills
- U.S. immigration law knowledge (non-immigrant, immigrant, PERM, I‑9, E‑Verify).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft suite of tools and modern productivity platforms.
