Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for direct labor positions, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
- Conduct interviews, process background checks and employment authorizations, and facilitate new hire orientation.
- Process weekly timekeeping and maintain employee attendance records.
- Address employee relations issues by investigating concerns, consulting with management, and coordinating appropriate resolutions.
- Review disciplinary actions and termination documentation while collaborating with internal stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain accurate employee personnel files for active and terminated employees.
- Assist with workers' compensation case administration and documentation.
- Serve as a liaison between employees and operations to ensure timely approval of weekly timesheets.
- Prepare and distribute labor, hiring, and workforce reports for management.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources management experience supporting a workforce of 150+ employees.
- At least 3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, timekeeping, and HR compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS); ability to quickly learn new HRIS/payroll software.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Resourceful problem solver with sound judgment and critical thinking skills.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with standard office equipment and technology.
