BI Platform Product Owner – Enterprise Data Services

We’re looking for a hands-on, strategic Product Owner to lead the development, deployment, and governance of an enterprise-wide Business Intelligence platform. In this role, you’ll oversee a growing environment that supports scalable data visualization and reporting capabilities, acting as both administrator and internal champion. You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver a seamless experience across our organization.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee and expand a secure, scalable enterprise BI platform leveraging Power BI Premium and related services
  • Define platform governance, usage standards, and administration policies to guide development and usage
  • Configure, publish, and maintain key assets such as datasets, dataflows, and applications using various storage and query models (import, direct query, composite, hybrid)
  • Implement and support a centralized data architecture that powers business-wide reporting and self-service analytics
  • Lead coordination with vendor partners to assess new capabilities and align roadmaps to internal needs
  • Champion internal learning and enablement by organizing trainings and community-building events in collaboration with external providers
  • Translate feedback and functional requirements from diverse business units into prioritized workstreams for technical delivery teams
  • Collaborate with agile project leads to plan, scope, and drive iterative releases across user groups
  • Act as a bridge between technical possibilities and business objectives—envisioning and evangelizing tools that enhance enterprise decision-making
  • Drive product adoption by establishing a formal onboarding process, promoting internal best practices, building knowledge bases, and designing user outreach programs
  • Ensure platform performance, reliability, and scalability through regular reviews and engagement with technical stakeholders

What You’ll Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical field such as business, engineering, computer science, or a related area
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, Azure, SQL, and related Microsoft technologies
  • At least 5 years leading cross-functional initiatives focused on technology delivery and data product development
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and product features
  • 3+ years working directly with clients or internal partners in a consultative or support-oriented capacity
  • Experience working in agile frameworks with Scrum teams and iterative planning processes
