The Position:

Summit Search Group has been retained by Riverview Health Centre Foundation on the recruitment of their newest Donor Relations and Stewardship Manager. Riverview Health Centre Foundation (RHCF) is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients, residents, and families who rely on the compassionate care provided by Riverview Health Centre. The Donor Relations & Stewardship Manager is a strategic and hands-on fundraising professional who will play a central role in advancing the Foundation’s major gifts program and donor engagement efforts. This role will manage a portfolio of donors and prospects, with a strong focus on cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding major gifts. The position also contributes to sponsorship development, grant writing, and the success of Foundation events, working collaboratively with colleagues, an events consultant, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow a portfolio of major gift donors and prospects by building strong relationships, cultivating opportunities, and securing philanthropic support.
• Lead donor stewardship by creating high-quality experiences, communications, and impact reporting that demonstrate accountability and donor recognition.
• Support sponsorship development by identifying and engaging prospective sponsors for Foundation events and initiatives.
• Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals and submissions in collaboration with the Executive Director and other team members.
• Collaborate with colleagues on donor engagement strategies, campaigns, and other fundraising initiatives to advance the Foundation’s mission.
• Work as part of a team to develop and manage annual giving strategies, including direct mail, digital campaigns, and other broad-based donor appeals.
• Support and grow the Foundation’s planned giving program, ensuring prospective legacy donors are identified, cultivated, and stewarded appropriately.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in Business Administration, Commerce, Non-Profit Management or a related field. CFRE considered a strong asset.
• 5+ years’ experience of fundraising experience with demonstrated success in major gifts and donor relations.
• Proven ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies, including sponsorship and grant development.
