The Opportunity
They are currently seeking a Platform Engineer to join their growing engineering team. This person will play a key role in designing and building scalable, secure, and efficient internal platforms that enable fast, reliable software delivery and empower development teams. This is a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge systems and help shape the internal backbone of an ambitious tech company from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Design, implement, and maintain developer platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and scaling using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and GitOps principles.
- Drive improvements in system performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Enhance observability and reliability through modern monitoring tools and practices.
- Lead the development of self-service tooling for internal teams.
- Support incident response efforts and help maintain system uptime and resilience.
- Create and maintain high-quality documentation.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
What They're Looking For Technical Skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
- Hands-on experience with tools like Terraform, Ansible, MAAS, or Juju.
- Experience with OpenStack or public clouds (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong Linux system administration background.
- Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
- Solid understanding of networking and cloud security principles.

Experience with Proxmox and SQL/NoSQL databases is a plus.
