Roberts Filter Group, a pioneer in water treatment for more than 135 years and one the world’s most trusted names in municipal and industrial water treatment is seeking a hands-on Field Services Technician III for the Toa Alto Municipio, PR area.


In this role the Field Services Technician III will work under a Field Service Superintendent on project sites and lead a small crew onsite as needed. This is an exciting and diverse opportunity including demolition, installation, machinery operating-such as telehandlers and skid steers, receiving of materials at job sites, masonry work and low voltage electrical.


***This role requires 70% PR domestic and international travel (Canada). This is a full-time year-round opportunity and hours/travel fluctuates. This is a physical role, and candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds above the shoulder.

Field Services Technician III Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to company job site safety standards, maintain and update the required
  • safety certifications.
  • Execute tasks assigned by site superintendent with minimal supervision.
  • Lead a crew to perform tasks assigned by site superintendent.
  • Monitor time and task management of crew and optimize performance.
  • Perform tank and filter inspections and generate inspection reports.
  • Perform installation supervision where installation work is performed by a
  • contractor.
  • Operate small and medium grade machinery.
  • Work in permitted and non-permitted confined spaces.
  • Read blueprints, understand, and execute project scope.
  • Be versatile in performing a broad spectrum of tasks across different
  • project sites.

 

Field Services Technician III Qualifications:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Valid passport or ability to obtain a valid passport within the first year of employment
  • Ability to read blueprint.
  • Construction experience-light not heavy, grout work, small concrete pours, nothing structural.
  • Compact to mid-sized construction equipment experience preferred.
  • Experience in operation and maintenance of equipment such as blowers, pumps, and actuators preferred but not required.
  • Basic single phase and DC voltage experience is preferred but not required.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be open to 70% travel.
  • Must be bilingual-English/Spanish.
