Oracle DBA Team Lead

Location: Bangkok, BTS and MRT

Job Type: Permanent



We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA Team Lead to manage a team of database administrators, ensuring the stability, security, and performance of Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in database administration, leadership skills, and experience working in enterprise-level IT environments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of Oracle DBAs, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of Oracle databases to ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Monitor database performance and optimize system resources to meet business requirements.
  • Develop and implement database security policies and best practices.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support application and infrastructure projects.
  • Manage database backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
  • Troubleshoot complex database issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Automate routine DBA tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies regarding database management.
  • Prepare reports and documentation related to database architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 11g/12c/19c database architecture, installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Hands-on experience with RAC (Real Application Clusters), Data Guard, RMAN, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and automation tools.
  • Experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in financial or banking environments is a plus.
  • Certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or Oracle Certified Master (OCM) are preferred.
