We’re helping a leading technology company specializing in innovative software solutions. They are looking for a dynamic Head of Engineering to lead our technical team and drive our product development and solution to their clients.

As the Head of Engineering, you will be responsible for defining and executing the technology vision of Socket9. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a team of engineers, set the best engineering practices, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure products. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Design, and Business, to align technology with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Technology & Strategy

• Define and execute the technology roadmap in alignment with business goals.
• Drive innovation and ensure the adoption of modern engineering best practices.
• Oversee system architecture and technical decision-making.
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of all technical solutions.

Leadership & Team Management

• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence.
• Implement best practices for software development, deployment, and maintenance.

Execution & Delivery

• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of products and features.
• Optimize engineering workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and development processes.
• Establish and track key engineering performance metrics.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to align technology with business strategy.
• Partner with Product and Design teams to build user-centric solutions.
• Communicate technical concepts and progress to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong expertise in software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and modern tech stacks.
• Proven experience in scaling engineering teams and products.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
