We are helping a leading fintech company revolutionize digital financial services in Southeast Asia. Our client mission is to provide secure, seamless, and innovative payment solutions, financial services, and digital banking experiences to millions of users across the region.


They're seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Architect to design, implement, and enhance the organization's security framework. This role requires a deep understanding of IT security principles, enterprise architecture, and threat mitigation strategies to safeguard our digital financial ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop security architecture frameworks, policies, and standards to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Design and implement security solutions to protect IT infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
  • Conduct risk assessments and security reviews to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and engineering teams to embed security into the system development lifecycle.
  • Provide expert guidance on network security, application security, encryption, identity management, and access control.
  • Stay updated with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and evolving security technologies.
  • Work closely with security operations teams (SOC, Red Team, and Blue Team) to enhance threat detection and incident response capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with industry security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, and OWASP.
  • Present security strategies, risk assessments, and architectural recommendations to key stakeholders.


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Security Architecture, Enterprise Security, or Cybersecurity Advisory roles.
  • Strong knowledge of security frameworks, cryptography, cloud security, and identity & access management.
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies, including firewalls, SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and encryption tools.
  • Ability to conduct security assessments, penetration testing, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in working with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, OSCP, TOGAF, or CDPSE are highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
