Gemco is actively seeking Foreman/Site Supervisors of all levels willing to relocate to Queensland. Clayton, our Senior Search Consultant, specialises in placing these positions with Tier 1-3 builders across QLD. He is keen to discuss our many live and upcoming opportunities with you. We are looking for proactive individuals with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in construction management.
Responsibilities:
● Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
● Manage day-to-day operations, including subcontractor coordination, material procurement, and project scheduling.
● Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve issues, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
● Provide leadership and guidance to on-site personnel, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
● Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work site.
● Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, highlighting achievements and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Leafing Hand, Foreman or General Foreman in the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Solid project management skills, including budgeting and scheduling.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or come from a trade background.
