Gold Coast Based Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager to lead the commercial and contractual functions across a major multi-tower high-rise residential development on the Gold Coast. This is a rare opportunity to join a tier-one environment delivering landmark projects that shape the skyline.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial, financial, and contractual aspects of multiple high-rise residential towers
• Lead and mentor project commercial teams (contract administrators, QS, project accountants)
• Manage project budgets, cost planning, cash flow, and financial reporting
• Administer head contracts and subcontracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations
• Drive procurement strategy and subcontractor negotiation
• Provide risk identification, mitigation strategies, and commercial guidance to project leadership
• Support claims, variations, EOT assessments, and dispute resolution
• Ensure accurate forecasting and strong cost-control practices across all stages of delivery

About You

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS/Contracts Manager in large-scale construction
• — ideally high-rise residential or mixed-use projects
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts
• Exceptional financial acumen and attention to detail
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to influence and guide project teams
• Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Degree qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
