Brisbane Based Opportunity

We’re seeking a proactive and driven HSE Coordinator to join our client's team and support the safe delivery of construction projects across South East Queensland. You’ll work closely with project and site management teams to ensure all Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are met, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability on site.



Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor HSE systems across multiple active project sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety walks, and compliance audits.
• Support incident investigations and assist in developing corrective actions.
• Facilitate safety inductions, toolbox talks, and targeted training sessions.
• Review and update SWMS, JSA’s, and risk assessments.
• Maintain safety records, registers, and incident reporting documentation.
• Provide ongoing guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors on HSE practices.
• Liaise with Site Managers, Project Managers, and clients to ensure compliance with legislative and company requirements.
• Identify safety trends, lead improvement initiatives, and contribute to a strong site safety culture.

About You

• Minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety (Diploma highly regarded).
• Previous experience in an HSE Coordinator or Advisor role within the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation, ISO systems, and best-practice safety management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence across all site levels.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proactive and hands-on approach.
• Sound computer literacy (MS Office and safety management software).
• Current White Card and valid driver’s licence essential.
