Project Manager / Pre-Construction Manager Wanted

We are seeking an energetic and driven Project Manager / Pre-Construction Manager to initially manage our clients asset on the Gold Coast = retail & a hotel. You’ll then oversee 2–3 concurrent projects, focusing on feasibility, design management, procurement and setting up projects for successful construction delivery.

This role suits someone who thrives in a fast-paced property environment, has strong commercial instincts, and wants to grow their career within a dynamic development team.

Key Responsibilities

● Lead pre-construction activities including feasibility studies, site assessments, due diligence and risk analysis

● Manage the design and consultant teams, ensuring timely development of concepts and documentation

● Oversee procurement strategies, tender processes and contract negotiations

● Prepare and monitor project budgets, schedules and reporting

● Liaise with internal stakeholders, local authorities, tenants and external partners

● Ensure project approvals, permits and compliance requirements are met

● Support the transition from pre-construction into construction handover

About You

● 3–10 years’ experience in property development, project management, or construction

● Exposure to retail, mixed-use, commercial or hotel projects (preferred but not essential)

● Strong organisational and project coordination skills

● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

● Confident communicator with the ability to influence key stakeholders

● A proactive approach and eagerness to learn, grow and take ownership

● Relevant tertiary qualification in Property, Construction Management, Engineering or a related field
