The Pre-Construction Associate Position

The Pre-Construction Associate is responsible for providing accurate take-offs to Estimators and Project Managers utilizing a variety of estimating resources. This position must poses high-competency in reviewing and interpreting Construction plans and specifications.

The Project Manager is also responsible for managing and monitoring project-based communication and metrics on Bid Board, supporting Dee Cramer Design and VCD team in Project BIM setup, HVAC system design, various drafting & modelling tasks. Additionally, this role will need to prepare Awarded Projects for turnover to the operations team, perform document controls for Pre-Con & Estimating projects to DCI standards, and collaborate with Contract Administrator and Project Coordinators to maintain current and accurate information across departments. In addition to other duties as assigned.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities for the Pre-Construction Associate Position

·      High School diploma or equivalent required

·      Excel experience required

·      Experience with Bluebeam preferred

·      Experience with any of the Autodesk Family of Tools or 3D CAD/BIM tools preferred.

·       Excellent communication and time management skills

·       Exceptional attention to detail

·       Ability to collaborate effectively in a team
