Vale Group has partnered with an established company in the aviation industry based in Stockton, CA to hire an Contracts Administrator for an ON-SITE opportunity paying between $30 - $42 per hour, based on experience. Must have FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) and DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement) experience as it pertains to contract administration.

Requirements of the Contracts Administrator:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in government contract administration within the aerospace or defense industry.
- In-depth knowledge of government contracting regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with government agencies, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Proficiency in contract management software and tools.
- Strong analytical skills to review contract terms, pricing proposals, and related documentation.
Responsibilities of the Contracts Administrator:
- Oversee the end-to-end administration of military and government contracts
- Collaborate closely with various departments, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure contracts align with company objectives and comply with regulations.
- Review, draft, and negotiate contract terms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Manage contract modifications, extensions, and amendments, maintaining accurate documentation and records.
- Monitor and track contract performance, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely and successful execution.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
- Address inquiries and communication from government agencies and subcontractors related to contracts and procurement.
- Participate in contract closeout processes, ensuring that all requirements are met, and records are appropriately maintained.
- Stay updated on changes in government contracting regulations and industry best practices, advising internal teams on relevant developments.
