Vale Group has partnered with a highly reputable national public accounting firm, who is actively looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to work remote. The compensation for this role is based on experience and credentials, with a budget of up to $100K. The role involves developing audit approaches/plans, overseeing audit and assurance staff, and completing general audit procedures.

Requirements of the Senior Auditor:
● 3+ years of experience in public accounting (national or large regional highly preferred)
● Bachelor's degree in accounting, with Masters preferred
● CPA certification or eligibility to obtain CPA license
● Strong multitasking abilities
● Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities of the Senior Auditor:
● Establish dialogue over engagement efficiencies and client-specific risks
● Develop audit approaches for engagement teams
● Instruct and oversee Audit & Assurance staff throughout engagements
● Enhance technical knowledge by reviewing complex client transactions
● Prepare or review financial statements
● Complete general audit procedures, including coordination of audit closing communications
● Research technical issues using online tools
● Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel
