Bookkeeper(s). Staff Accountant(s). Remote-based! NextStep Recruiting is working with a fantastic, small but rapidly growing CPA accounting firm that is looking to add two Bookkeepers or Staff Accountants to handle bank reconciliations, credit card entries, and bank statement reviews for their small and medium-sized clients. These roles are remote-based and contract-to-hire. Our client is not requiring much experience…just a year or two or maybe a strong accounting internship…and the pay is $24 - $28/hr. Depending on experience. Plan on a 45-hour work week so some overtime pay is available. Candidates should have:

• 1+ years of strong bookkeeping or accounting experience or accounting internship experience. 
• Good QuickBooks Online experience and intermediate MS Excel skills
• Strong communication skills and presentation skills, as this role will have some client-facing Teams or Zoom meetings to answer client questions
