The Role

As a Sales Director at PowerGEM, you will be responsible for achieving revenue targets while managing key internal and external relationships. You will collaborate closely with Sales Operations, Product, Customer Success, and company leadership to align selling activities and scale a business in high-growth mode. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales leader with deep experience in B2B software sales, particularly for grid planning, electrical utilities, and the energy market sectors.


Qualifications & Skills


Required


  • 7+ years of B2B software sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Expertise in SaaS or enterprise software sales processes
  • Ability to navigate complex sales cycles and engage C-level stakeholders
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field


Nice to Have


  • Experience selling to energy trading, transmission planning, and/or grid operations sectors
  • Understanding of subscription-based SaaS sales models and consulting service offerings
  • Knowledge of AI-driven sales tools or Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategies
  • MBA or advanced degree a plus
