Residential Roofing Specialist

Compensation: $35-$40 per/hour

A Residential Roofing Specialist will perform tasks related to roofing, including installation, repair, maintenance, preparation, and cleanup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Worksite Preparation: Set up ladders, scaffolding, and safety equipment. Remove old roofing materials and keep the area clean.
• Assisting with Installation: Transport, cut, and measure materials. Help lay insulation, underlayment, or waterproof membranes and secure roofing materials.
• Safety and Compliance: Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines. Wear protective gear and assist in securing materials.
• Clean-up and Maintenance: Remove debris, clean tools, and perform basic maintenance on equipment and safety gear.
• General Tasks: Assist with gutter installation, flashing, and sealing. Communicate effectively with the team and be prepared with personal tools. Follow instructions and go above and beyond to help the team.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Residential roofing experience
• Expert knowledge of roofing materials and installation for residential projects.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and building codes for NYC and Long Island.
• OSHA 30 certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Physically able to meet job demands
• Comfortable working at heights on roofs.
