Roofer- Residential & Construction

Compensation: $35-$45 per/hour

Job Type: Full-time, In-person.

A Roofer will perform tasks related to roofing, construction, including installation, repair, maintenance, preparation, and cleanup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect residential roofs to assess damage, leaks, and structural issues
• Install new asphalt shingle roofing systems on residential homes according to manufacturer specifications and building codes.
• Remove old roofing materials and prepare roof surfaces for new installations
• Work collaboratively with project managers, crew members, and other construction professionals.
• General Tasks: Assist with gutter installation, flashing, and sealing. Communicate effectively with the team and be prepared with personal tools. Follow instructions and go above and beyond to help the team.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Roofing and Construction Experience
• Expert knowledge of roofing materials and installation for residential projects.
• In-depth knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and building codes for NYC and Long Island.
• OSHA 30 certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Physically able to meet job demands
• Comfortable working at heights on roofs.
