Location: Philippines, Remote, M-F, Philippine Time (w/ overlap in New Zealand time during the first month)

Compensation: $1,300.00 Monthly

We work with highly skilled marketing, digital marketing, and sales professionals and match them with our clients from diverse industries across the United States. Our selection process incorporates comprehensive resume screening, shortlisting, conducting video-recorded interviews and providing client information, administering written assessments (if required by the client), arranging client interviews, and facilitating job offers and placements.


The Client

The client is a digital marketing agency based in Nelson, New Zealand, working with small to medium businesses across a range of industries. They specialize in Google Ads and focus on driving real results that matter to their agency clients.


The Role

The client is looking for a capable, independent Google Ads Specialist to help them manage and scale agency client campaigns—someone who knows their way around the tools, thinks critically, and takes initiative.


They use Slack, Monday.com, Google Meet, ChatGPT, MS Office, and Google Sheets/Docs to collaborate and communicate. Familiarity with any of these tools is helpful but not required. You'll be expected to communicate clearly and professionally with both the team and agency clients—no jargon, just plain English. They’ll provide onboarding support and access to past reports, notes, and campaign history so you’re set up for success from day one. They keep things simple, do things properly, and value honest, clear communication—both internally and with their agency clients. Your hours of work will be flexible, and we think work/life balance is very important. Working Philippine business hours is an option.


Responsibilities

  • Managing Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, and Performance Max.
  • Setting up and maintaining conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager and GA4.
  • Creating custom dashboards and performance reports in Looker Studio.
  • Running keyword and audience optimizations.
  • Writing and refining ad copy to align with campaign goals.
  • Identifying issues or opportunities and recommending improvements.
  • Communicating with the internal team and occasionally with agency clients (mostly by email).
  • Writing a monthly performance summary for each agency client.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Search and Performance Max especially).
  • Confident using Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, and GA4.
  • Background in generating qualified leads.
  • Strong written communication skills—clear, professional, and efficient.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Focus on outcomes and wanting the agency clients to “win”.

 

Nice To Have (but not essential)

  • Experience working with service-based businesses in New Zealand and/or Australia.
  • Proficiency in SEO.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Google Search Console.
  • Experience using Google Business Profile.
  • Comfortable using AI tools like ChatGPT to streamline tasks or support creative work.
  • Previous agency or freelance/contractor experience.
