SUMMARY


The Vice President of Partnerships will lead ABF’s global partnerships organization and play a key role in driving the company’s commercial growth strategy. This executive leadership position will be responsible for building, scaling, and managing a high-performing partnerships team while overseeing strategic relationships across multiple sectors and global markets.


The Vice President of Partnerships will be accountable for the overall performance, effectiveness, and growth of the partnerships function, including revenue generation, team leadership, and operational execution. Working closely with senior leadership, this individual will establish commercial priorities, elevate partnership standards, and drive the successful delivery of ambitious growth objectives.


The ideal candidate will bring extensive partnership leadership experience, strong commercial acumen, and a proven track record of building high-performing teams within complex, high-growth environments. This role requires the ability to engage effectively with senior executives, cultivate strategic relationships, and position ABF as a premier platform for global influence, collaboration, and impact.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Commercial leadership & revenue ownership

  • Own the overall partnerships revenue strategy and performance across ABF’s global portfolio.
  • Set and deliver annual and multi-year revenue targets across all partnership verticals.
  • Personally engage in select strategic, high-value deals where senior leadership involvement is required.
  • Drive consistency in pipeline creation, conversion rates, deal velocity, and average contract value across teams.


Team leadership & organizational scaling

  • Lead, manage, and develop a multi-layered partnerships organization including Senior
  • Partnership Directors, Directors, Heads of Partnerships across multiple industries.
  • Establish a high-performance culture grounded in accountability, commercial discipline, and excellence in execution.
  • Define clear operating rhythms, KPIs, forecasting frameworks, and performance management systems.
  • Identify and close capability gaps across the organization through hiring, coaching, and restructuring where required


Strategic growth & market development

  • Shape ABF’s global partnerships strategy across key sectors including technology, finance, industry, government, and institutional stakeholders.
  • Presenting to the executive team on business performance and working closely with them to identify new market opportunities and expansion priorities.
  • Lead the evolution of ABF’s partnership offering, ensuring alignment with market demand and partner expectations.
  • Bring external insight and industry best practice to continuously elevate ABF’s commercial model.


Stakeholder leadership & representation

  • Act as a senior external representative of ABF with global C-suite executives, institutional leaders, and strategic partners.
  • Build and maintain a high-trust network of senior relationships across industries and geographies.
  • Represent ABF in select high-level forums, private engagements, and strategic convenings.
  • Commercial excellence & process discipline
  • Ensure rigorous pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and CRM discipline across all teams.
  • Standardize deal structuring, pricing strategy, and partnership packaging to improve scalability and consistency.
  • Oversee negotiation strategy for high-value, complex, and multi-stakeholder agreements.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • 12–20+ years of experience in partnerships, enterprise sales, commercial leadership, or equivalent senior roles. 
  • Proven track record of leading and scaling high-performing commercial teams in complex, high-growth environments. 
  • Significant experience managing senior leaders (Directors / Heads of function) with direct accountability for revenue performance. 
  • Strong history of closing and overseeing large-scale, multi-year strategic partnerships at executive and institutional level. 
  • $130m+ in cumulative career partnerships personally closed. 
  • Deep understanding of enterprise decision-making structures and long-cycle, multi-threaded deal environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to build commercial systems, not just individual performance.
  • Strong external credibility and an established network across relevant industries or sectors.
  • Exceptional leadership presence, communication ability, and strategic judgment under ambiguity.
  • Experience in global platforms, events, media, consulting, or ecosystem-driven businesses is highly desirable.
