Overview

We are seeking a Senior Technical Systems Administrator responsible for the provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and supporting infrastructure. This role supports engineering and product development environments and plays a key role in maintaining system reliability, enabling innovation, and supporting enterprise engineering tools.You will bring deep experience supporting CAD-driven Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) environments, managing development tool suites, and collaborating closely with application and development teams to support engineering workflows.


Key Responsibilities

Systems Administration & Infrastructure

  • Provision, install, configure, and maintain systems hardware, operating systems, and supporting infrastructure within enterprise and internet-based environments.
  • Perform technical research and development to support continued infrastructure improvements and modernization.
  • Ensure systems, software, and related procedures align with organizational policies and operational standards.

Engineering Tools & PLM Environment Support

  • Administer engineering and product development toolsets, including PLM environments and supporting applications.
  • Support 3DExperience on-premise deployments hosted within cloud environments.
  • Manage documentation for network server configurations, application licensing agreements, and third-party software.
  • Implement engineering tool administration practices that support product development workflows.

Operations & Support

  • Serve as an escalation point for after-hours and on-call support for product development tools.
  • Maintain backup systems and procedures supporting product development software environments.
  • Document repair, maintenance, and change requests through the internal ticketing system.
  • Support help desk workflows, preferably using platforms such as ServiceNow or JIRA.

Collaboration & Technical Implementation

  • Work closely with application and development teams to implement technical roadmaps for engineering tool platforms.
  • Build prototype and test systems to support demonstrations and testing environments.
  • Understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures, and customer requirements.
  • Create and update process documentation supporting PLM and product development activities.


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of study

       • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience

       • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Experience in developing applications in iOS, Microsoft, Linux, Javascript, angular.js, webRTC preferred.

·        10+ years of practical experience in implementing Product Development Suite of tools

·        10+ years implementing tools and processes associated with MBSE (NoMagic, CATIA Magic, RELEX, etc), CAD Driven Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) structure development in support of engineering, manufacturing and sustainment of programs/product lines

·        Skilled in driving digital transformation/implementation projects over months and years by being involved in vision strategy session; Distilling those inputs into an actionable technical roadmap options what are able to be implemented multiple times and adapt to evolving business demands as the realization of implementation benefits occur
