Full-Time Senior Housekeeper – Westchester

Location: Upper Westchester, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, with flexibility for evenings and weekends (every weekend in the summer; every other weekend during non-summer months)

Compensation: Open based on experience, plus overtime, PTO, 401(k), and healthcare (medical, dental, and vision)

Our returning client—a wonderful family in Upper Westchester—is seeking a hands-on, highly experienced Senior Housekeeper to join their long-term household team. This is a beautiful and well-run residence that values consistency, warmth, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will bring both technical skill and genuine pride in keeping an elegant home running smoothly.

Position Overview

The Senior Housekeeper will take a lead role in the daily operation, management, and meticulous upkeep of the household. Working closely with the Property Manager and the rest of the team, you’ll ensure that the home remains spotless, well-organized, and welcoming at all times.

Key Responsibilities

·      Full-charge housekeeping: daily cleaning, organizing, dusting, polishing, and maintaining all areas of the home to a pristine standard

·      Care and maintenance of fine materials: artwork, antiques, silver, china, chandeliers, and specialty finishes

·      Laundry and wardrobe care: fine linens, luxury fabrics, and delicate garment handling

·      Maintain organized closets, assist with packing/unpacking, and seasonal wardrobe rotations

·      Inventory and supply management; liaise with vendors and contractors as needed

·      Pet care for multiple dogs, including walking, feeding, and medication

·      Communicate with the Property Manager on household needs, repairs, and scheduling

·      Oversee and collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure all work meets high standards

·      Uphold discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times

Requirements & Attributes

·      Minimum 10 years’ experience in a high-level private household

·      Excellent communication skills; fluent in English (written and verbal)

·      Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and time management

·      Flexible, dependable, and willing to assist wherever needed

·      Confident working around pets and supporting a busy, active household

·      Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

·      U.S. work authorization and excellent references
