Commercial Real Estate Loan Closer

Title Level: Analyst / Senior Analyst / Associate (based on experience)

Location: Salt Lake City, UT



A national real estate investment platform is hiring a Loan Closer to support its growing origination team. The role offers exposure to a range of commercial and residential real estate transactions across multiple asset classes.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage the end-to-end closing process for a portfolio of commercial and residential real estate loans.
• Review loan documents, supporting materials, and due diligence items for accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate directly with borrowers, attorneys, title companies, brokers, third-party vendors, and internal teams to gather and verify required closing documentation.
• Track loan details and maintain up-to-date data in internal systems throughout the closing process.
• Prepare and maintain transaction checklists, timelines, and closing files.
• Issue instructions to title and escrow teams and ensure timely resolution of any closing issues.
• Draft and process deed reconveyances when necessary.
• Assist with additional transaction-related tasks as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Paralegal certification is a plus.
• 2–4 years of experience in commercial real estate loan closings, title escrow services, or a related area.
• Working knowledge of lending procedures, loan documentation, collateral review, and servicing systems.
• Title company experience helpful but not required.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills — both written and verbal — and a strong client-service mindset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF.
