POSITION OVERVIEW


As a New Business Account Executive at LHS, you’ll be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. You’ll build relationships with target prospects, uncover their needs, and deliver tailored, consultative solutions that drive revenue and long-term value. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment and enjoys working closely with both internal teams and external partners.


CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES


Drive New Business

  • Identify and engage new target accounts through research, networking, and referrals
  • Develop deep relationships with key decision-makers
  • Conduct discovery conversations to uncover needs and position value
  • Lead the sales process from proposal to close
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft client-focused solutions
  • Maintain strong follow-up and post-sale engagement


Grow Existing Accounts

  • Identify upsell opportunities and deepen client relationships
  • Monitor client satisfaction and ensure ongoing value delivery


Strategic Insights & Market Development

  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity
  • Contribute to marketing strategy with market feedback and insights
  • Represent LHS at conferences and industry events


Team Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work cross-functionally to deliver seamless service
  • Maintain accurate records and forecasting in CRM
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals


DESIRED TRAITS AND QUALIFICATIONS


  • 4–5 years of sales experience, preferably in a technical or consultative environment
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to develop and close new business
  • Solid time management, organization, and CRM discipline
  • Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) or equivalent experience
