Meet the company:

Our client, a mission-driven real estate firm, is seeking an experienced Asset Management Associate to oversee operations for a portfolio of multifamily properties. This role focuses on financial analysis, property performance, and collaboration with property management to maximize asset value and meet ownership objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor portfolio performance and prepare reports for leadership.
• Analyze variances, benchmark against industry data, and recommend strategies to maximize returns.
• Support refinancing, dispositions, acquisitions, and long-term asset planning.
• Lead annual budget reviews and financial forecasting.
• Maintain relationships with lenders, investors, and property management teams.
• Conduct site visits, audits, and due diligence as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of asset management experience, ideally in multifamily real estate.
• Strong financial modeling, analysis, and budgeting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with Yardi Voyager or similar a plus.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to travel for site visits.
