Position: Senior iOS Software Engineer

Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

Compensation: $175K – $200K USD

Status: Permanent, Full Time

A fast-growing technology startup is hiring an experienced iOS Software Engineer to help evolve a mission-critical mobile application used by operational teams in real-world environments.

In this role, the mobile application is the core product experience, not a companion interface. You’ll work closely with users, designers, and engineers to build and ship production-quality features that support time-sensitive workflows.

This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys owning features end-to-end, working directly with users, and building highly reliable mobile software in a fast-moving startup environment.

What You'll Do

• Build and ship features for a production iOS application
• Own projects end-to-end from discovery through deployment
• Work directly with users to translate real-world workflows into product improvements
• Improve application performance, stability, and scalability
• Develop automated tests to maintain high code quality
• Collaborate with design to build intuitive and reliable user experiences
• Contribute to architecture decisions as the product scales

Requirements

• 4–12 years of experience developing iOS applications
• Strong experience with Swift
• Experience with modern Apple frameworks such as SwiftUI
• Experience with Core Data or other persistence layers
• Familiarity with Apple SDKs and iOS development tools
• Experience with Git / GitHub
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects

Nice to Have

• Experience building mobile-first products
• Background in operational software (logistics, transportation, aviation, etc.)
• Experience building automated test suites for mobile applications
• Interest in taking on increasing technical leadership
