Join our dynamic land surveying team as a Multi-State Licensed Surveyor specializing in ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys. 🔎 What You’ll Do
- Oversee and certify ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys across multiple U.S. states
- Ensure all surveys meet the rigorous standards of the American Land Title Association (ALTA) and NSPS
- Interpret legal descriptions, plats, easements, and title exceptions to produce defensible boundary surveys
- Identify and report on key issues such as:
- Easements & Rights-of-Way: Assess impact on proposed property use
- Encroachments: Document structural overlaps and flag costly boundary conflicts
- Setback Violations: Analyze zoning compliance risks and their implications
- Access & Circulation: Evaluate ingress/egress issues, including landlocked parcels
- Work collaboratively with project managers, title companies, and legal teams to support closing timelines and due diligence
📚 What You’ll Bring
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in multiple states (at least 2 required; more is a strong plus)
- Deep knowledge of ALTA standards, land title requirements, and boundary principles
- Experience managing remote survey workflows and coordinating field crews and drafters
- Comfortable reviewing title commitments and interpreting legal documents related to property boundaries
- Proficiency with survey software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, Bluebeam)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
