Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Cloud Architect position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be remote in the United States with travel to Buffalo, NY every 4–6 weeks. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leverage expertise in technical and business strategy to collaborate with Technology domain leadership to support strategic decision making
• Provide consultation services to domain leadership to improve technology delivery and operational efficiency
• Research and communicate fact-based recommendations to support Enterprise Architecture governance processes
• Build strong stakeholder partnerships to articulate current state, target state, and domain roadmap strategies
• Partner with delivery teams and leadership across business, application, data, cloud/infrastructure, security, integration, operations, and support architecture domains
• Research, understand, and apply emerging technologies and industry trends to determine business and technology impacts
• Translate enterprise technology vision into architecture principles, standards, patterns, and guidelines
• Identify opportunities for new products, platforms, and system enhancements that support enterprise-wide technology reuse and scalability
• Create and maintain architecture reference materials to ensure consistent and compliant enterprise solutions
• Participate in the planning and design of strategic initiatives requiring architecture guidance
• Identify and escalate risk-related issues to management as appropriate
• Maintain compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal control standards

What You'll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant work experience, or a combined minimum of 11 years of higher education and/or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 7+ years of experience developing and integrating applications using software architecture principles and patterns
• Experience working with enterprise architecture frameworks and enterprise architecture tools
• Background in software engineering, software delivery, and/or solution architecture
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience supporting enterprise architecture strategy, roadmap planning, and governance
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, infrastructure architecture, security, and integration patterns
• Experience collaborating with Agile teams and leadership stakeholders
• Ability to analyze emerging technologies and recommend strategic solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Graduate degree in a business or technical discipline
• Cloud certifications and experience working with cloud vendors and technologies
• Experience working in Agile environments
• Enterprise architecture framework certifications
• Financial services industry experience
• Experience working in multiple technical roles related to enterprise technology design and roadmap planning

Pay Range: $100/hr - $120/hr
