AllChild is a national charity working locally at the heart of our communities so every child and young person can access the right support and opportunities, in the right way, at the right time.

We started AllChild (formerly known as West London Zone for Children and Young People) inspired by the Harlem Children’s Zone in New York. We mobilise and deliver tailored two-year Impact Programmes with children and young people, enabling an individual personalised journey of support for them. Alongside this, we collaborate with local services and charities to connect and strengthen the support that already exists in each community, enabling children and young people and their families to access the opportunities around them.

As we mark our 10-year anniversary, AllChild stands at a pivotal moment. We are shaping an ambitious new decade and defining a bold 10-year strategy that will reimagine how we invest in children’s futures across the UK. Our model is proven: we have consistently delivered against ambitious growth and impact goals, deepened our work in West London, expanded into Greater Manchester, and are now co-designing with communities in new areas as we scale nationally.

We are now seeking an exceptional individual to join us as Chair of Trustees, succeeding Sir Harvey McGrath.

As Chair, you will play a vital role in guiding AllChild through its next phase supporting the expansion of our deeply local approach to new communities, while ensuring we sustain and deepen our impact where we already work. You will bring energy, strategic insight, and a strong belief in our mission, alongside the ability to build influential relationships. This is a role for a leader who recognises both the urgency and the opportunity of the moment. The challenges facing children and families today are profound but so too is the potential to transform how support is designed and delivered.

If you share our ambition to lead that change, and have the drive to help make it happen - we would be delighted to hear from you.
