The Position:

Summit Search Group has been retained by SolutionAir on the recruitment of their next Project Leader – Engineering. Summit Search Group is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Project Leader – Engineering Systems to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for project management, product development, and cross-functional collaboration. You will be responsible for leading design projects from concept through to completion while driving process improvements, managing customer-facing tools, and supporting the seamless transition of development projects into production.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead weekly cross-functional Design Release meetings, ensuring project actions are executed and outstanding issues are resolved efficiently.
• Collaborate with various departments to address order-related issues and implement lessons learned into ongoing processes.
• Drive initiatives to standardize design models across all product lines, enhancing consistency and quality.
• Recommend and implement best practices in project management tools and systems across the organization.
• Oversee the performance and development of customer-facing quote tools, introducing new features and ensuring their ongoing effectiveness.
• Support the implementation of engineering change management practices, ensuring clear documentation and timely execution across all teams.
• Ensure all project deliverables, documentation, and processes comply with relevant industry standards and internal quality expectations.

Qualifications:

• Post-Secondary Education in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical).
• 3+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software and Microsoft Office Applications.
