BigFoot Staffing is hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technicians for a growing commercial HVAC contractor in the Portland area. This is a direct hire opportunity supporting a strong pipeline of commercial service, preventative maintenance, and replacement work throughout the region.

If you have experience working on RTUs, split systems, gas heat, economizers, and commercial HVAC systems, we’d like to connect.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on rooftop units (RTUs) and split systems
• Service heat pumps, gas heat systems, economizers, and refrigeration equipment
• Identify repair and replacement opportunities
• Complete digital service reports and work orders
• Communicate with dispatch, project managers, and customers
• Follow all safety procedures and code requirements

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• EPA Certification required
• Experience with RTUs, split systems, refrigeration systems, and basic controls
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work safely on rooftops

Preferred Experience

• DDC controls or BAS experience
• Experience quoting repairs or replacement work
• VRF / VRV systems experience
• Oregon LEB license
• Washington 06A license
