Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly creative and collaborative Social Media Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our clients' social media accounts, crafting compelling content, and proactively identifying and integrating the latest trends into our strategies. You'll work closely with both internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and execute successful social media campaigns that significantly drive brand awareness and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
● Content Creation & Curation:
○ Proactively support content creation with strong copywriting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
○ Craft compelling captions and messages tailored for various platforms.
○ Consistently spot trending topics and pitch their integration into content to maintain freshness and relevance.
○ Possess the ability to create engaging content from diverse sources, including cutting GIFs from video content, for different social media platforms.
○ Take full ownership of the content calendar, ensuring timely and strategic publication.
● Social Media Management & Strategy:
○ Manage and grow our social media presence across multiple platforms (e.g., Instagram, X), including scheduling, publishing, responding to comments/messages, and analyzing performance.
○ Proactively drive campaigns and events forward, from developing social plans and pitching to execution and comprehensive reporting.
● Stakeholder Management & Governance:
○ Demonstrate strong experience in managing multiple stakeholders and navigating approval processes efficiently.
○ Implement, maintain, and update our social media governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency across all channels.
● Reporting & Optimization:
○ Create, maintain, and optimize dashboards to track key publication metrics.
○ Provide actionable insights to the team through regular reporting, using a data-driven approach to inform content pitches and strategy.
○ Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and automate social media operations, improving overall efficiency and effectiveness.
● Platform Expertise & Collaboration:
○ Become a power user of our social media management system (e.g., Sprinklr), offering training and support to other team members.
○ Collaborate closely with social media managers, content creators, and other stakeholders to streamline workflows and ensure smooth content publishing and campaign execution.
● Documentation & Events:
○ Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of social media processes, best practices, and guidelines.
○ Attend events as needed to produce live social media content.
● Copywriting & SEO:
○ Possess the ability to persuade readers to take action (e.g., purchases, newsletter sign-ups).
○ Demonstrate knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines.
○ Understand copyright laws and licensing agreements relevant to content.
○ Ability to develop and implement content strategies aligned with business goals.

What You Contribute (Experience):
● 2-4 years of experience with social media events and user-generated content.
● 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing or a closely related field.
● 3-5 years of experience working with brand-owned social media channels.
● 2-4 years of professional experience managing and coordinating social media activities on behalf of a cutting-edge business, brand, individual, or group.
● Demonstrated experience creating content from various sources, optimizing it across unique social strategies to drive engagement, audience acquisition, and a consistent brand voice.
● Creative Agency experience is a plus.
