The Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Social

Media Marketing Manager to lead our client’s social media initiatives. This

role is crucial for the growth and engagement, and the ideal candidate will be

a creative visionary with a proven track record of developing and executing

successful social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and

customer acquisition.

You will be responsible for overseeing social media channels,

working with a team of social media specialists, and working closely with

cross-functional teams to ensure our social media presence aligns with our

overall marketing and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Vision:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media marketing strategy that
  • aligns with company goals. Identify key performance indicators (KPIs),
  • analyze data, and continuously optimize strategies for maximum impact.
  • Content Leadership:
  • Lead the content creation process for all social media channels. This
  • includes overseeing the editorial calendar, content ideation, and ensuring
  • all content is high-quality, on-brand, and engaging.
  • Team Management:
  • Mentor, manage, and inspire a team of social media professionals. Provide
  • guidance, constructive feedback, and professional development
  • opportunities to help them grow.
  • Channel Management:
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of all social media platforms (e.g.,
  • Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Stay
  • up-to-date with platform changes, trends, and best practices.
  • Community Engagement:
  • Foster and grow our online community by managing comments, messages, and
  • engagement. Develop strategies to enhance community participation and
  • brand loyalty.
  • Paid Social: Plan,
  • manage, and optimize paid social media campaigns to achieve specific
  • marketing objectives (e.g., lead generation, traffic, conversions).
  • Analytics & Reporting:
  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track performance, generate
  • insightful reports, and present findings to leadership. Use data to inform
  • future strategies.
  • Collaboration: Work
  • closely with the marketing, creative, PR, and product teams to ensure a
  • cohesive and integrated brand message across all channels.
  • Brand Voice: Act as
  • the guardian of our brand voice and tone on social media, ensuring all
  • communications are consistent and authentic.
  • Stay Current: Keep a
  • pulse on the latest social media trends, emerging platforms, and
  • competitor activities to ensure our strategy remains innovative and
  • effective.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in
  • Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 7 years of proven
  • experience in social media marketing, with at least 3 years in a
  • leadership or senior-level role.
  • Demonstrable success
  • in developing and executing social media strategies that have resulted in
  • significant growth in followers, engagement, and business results.
  • Deep expertise in all
  • major social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Experience with social
  • media management and analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite,
  • Brandwatch, etc.).
  • Strong understanding
  • of paid social media advertising and campaign management.
  • Excellent written and
  • verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • A creative and
  • strategic thinker who can translate business goals into actionable social
  • media plans.
  • Proven ability to
  • manage and mentor a team.
  • Strong analytical
  • skills and the ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.

  • Experience in tech,
  • B2B SaaS, E-commerce, etc.
  • Proficiency in content
  • management and project management systems. 
  • Experience in managing
  • social media for a global brand.
