Technician
Fargo, ND – Full Time
Productive Resources (www.productiveresources.com) is seeking a candidate to be part of our engineering team for our customer's facility in Fargo, ND. As a member of our team, the selected candidate will perform instrumented tests using existing procedures to verify that system performance meet product specifications. Support assigned product groups in product validation and verification process as associated with production requirements. Provide problem identification and resolution, corrective action and tracking and reliability analysis. Provide input on test procedures to engineers and support personnel as required. Test electronic products to qualify for production readiness.
This is a full-time position that is indefinite in duration with the opportunity of professional growth, and additional opportunities within our organization.
Duties:
- Conduct manual test of electronic assemblies and document results.
- Set up lab equipment per engineering instruction.
- Perform maintenance on equipment and products.
Requirements:
- A.S. in Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum one year of related experience.
- Possess effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of personal computers, spreadsheets, and word processing.
- Understanding of trouble shooting methodologies to identify root cause.
- Ability to read and comprehend engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams.
- Ability to maintain necessary product records and documentation.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to work Second Shift.
Preferred:
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and electronic components.
- Knowledge of test equipment, e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: Electronics, Electrician/Electrical contracting, On-road/off-road, Automotive repair, Communication/Networking hardware, Robotics, automation, or mechatronics, Farming.
