Vale Group, a nationwide specialized recruitment firm, has partnered with a company based in Miami, FL, who is actively searching for an experienced Commercial Landing Gear Quality Inspector to work onsite for an opportunity paying based on experience and certifications, which may be up to $38/HR. This second-shift role operates within a regulated repair station environment and centers on QA/QC inspection, verification, and documentation of commercial aircraft landing gear systems supporting Boeing and Airbus platforms. The position requires a detail-oriented inspector capable of ensuring compliance with FAA, customer, and internal quality standards within a high-throughput overhaul operation.

Requirements of the Commercial Landing Gear Quality Inspector:
● Minimum of 3+ years of inspection experience within aircraft component maintenance or overhaul environments
● Strong familiarity with landing gear assemblies including both main and nose configurations
● FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant certification strongly preferred
● Ability to interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and inspection criteria documentation
● Experience working within FAA-regulated repair station quality systems
● Familiarity with electronic maintenance records and inspection tracking platforms
● Direct experience supporting Boeing and/or Airbus landing gear platforms required
● Strong attention to detail with proficiency using precision measuring instruments
Responsibilities of the Commercial Landing Gear Quality Inspector:
● Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections on landing gear components and assemblies
● Verify dimensional accuracy and serviceability using calibrated measurement tools and inspection equipment
● Document inspection results and ensure traceability in accordance with regulatory and company standards
● Review technical publications and engineering data to validate repair and overhaul compliance
● Identify discrepancies, non-conformances, and required corrective actions during inspection activities
● Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality findings and support repair dispositions
● Support as needed
